Temporary Stables for Horses on the Move

What is a temporary stable? It is built for convenience and for speed and in some cases emergency and provides safety and shelter for horses that may need part time accommodation.

Whether you need temporary stables for a show or an event, waiting for planning permission or waiting for your own new stables to be built, then perhaps temporary stables may provide you with an effective solution for housing your horses on a temporary basis. You may even be moving homes in which case temporary stables may be more than a luxury, but an essential.

Let's take a quick look at some of the main benefits of some of these stables bearing in mind they are available in various shapes and sizes.

Perhaps the most mind boggling fact about some temporary stables is that they arrive on site in "flat pack" form! They can be assembled very quickly indeed, in minutes rather than the hours you might expect. The stable frames are made from galvanised steel which makes them very sturdy and durable. There is no fuss when it comes to hanging the doors. They are all pre-mounted in frames with spring bolts and hinges. The weight of the panels and roof has been kept to an absolute minimum, but despite this, they are still strong and completely safe for your horses whilst remaining user friendly and flexible for the owners. You can assemble the stables as you wish. Perhaps you want them back to back or maybe side by side if this more convenient for your space. The grills on the doors can either be horizontal or vertical to suit your requirements and are always made strong enough to withstand any kicking from its occupant. Although most temporary stables are exactly that...temporary, they are built so well that they are able to last for much longer periods if required. The surfaces of the stalls are of such a material that makes them easy to clean and freshen. You can either order the stables to come with their own roof or they can be placed inside an existing barn our outbuilding. The dimensions of each stall are usually 10ft by 10 ft which is 3.0m by 3.0m.

So, they are just a few points to consider when weighing up your temporary stable options and there is much more information available.
